This stop celebrates Annie Rogers (1856-1937), a campaigner for full membership of women at the University of Oxford. After gaining a first class honours degree from the University, she went on to become the secretary of the ‘Association for Promoting the Higher Education of Women’, which was particularly influential in the campaign for women to earn full degrees at the University, the first of which were awarded in October 1920.
